Midnight prayer is important during the midnight hours as a Christian today. We are living in the last days where the enemy satan and the kingdom of darkness is rampant. Spiritual warfare is real and as followers of Christ, we need to understand that there are evil forces that are operating trying to stop God’s people from succeeding. There are evil unrepentant enemies who are hell bent on not wanting to see you succeed. Midnight is a critical time as the world is asleep, the spiritual realm is light with God’s angels along with evil principalities being busy. Midnight Prayer is needed even in these last days as the enemy loves to wage destruction as many people sleep.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way (Matthew 13:24–25).

The hours of 12am – 3am is a critical time in the atmosphere with many people fast asleep and few people are awake. This is a time where the enemy looks to ruin people’s lives. Many people’s destiny, blessings and purpose are stolen or delayed by evil workers of darkness such as witches, vodou priests or obeah workers. While many people including Christians lay fast asleep, these evil workers of darkness are putting spells and even people’s faces on altars to ruin their lives. This is why many people can go to bed healthy, have a dream of eating food in their sleep (witchcraft) and wake up with sicknesses such as cancer in their body. 12am- 3am is when witches and the kingdom of darkness are most active with little resistant with many people fast asleep.

Not only is the kingdom of darkness active but God’s holy angels are also active during these hours the most. The midnight hours is also one of the best times to hear God as the world is quiet with little distractions and majority of people are asleep. Midnight prayer helps to unlock your blessings more as you pray to God with little distractions and showing how serious you are about following God. Many people say they love God but often their actions don’t follow. Midnight prayer shows Jesus Christ that you are willing to stay up or wake up out of your sleep to talk to God which is a level of discipline that few possess. When you start doing midnight prayers consistently, you will see how much faster your prayers and blessings will follow.

However, serious Christians who are up praying during the midnight hours will reign supreme over any witch or warlock as a Christian’s prayer is more lethal than any spell or witchcraft. Many times, the witches own spell may backfire on them if they play with a real Christian which is why many witches fear serious Christians.

Often, many people wonder why they seem to wake up during the night especially between the hours of 12am – 3am. Understand this, that God may be waking you up to talk to him, worship and even engage in spiritual warfare. As these last days progress, wickedness is increasing in the land, and you need to know how to war against the enemy and to unlock your blessings. Sadly, many Christians lack spiritual knowledge causing many Christians to fall victim to these evil devices. This has led many people to die young, miss their blessings and die below what God had in store for them. This is why a Christian can have great business ideas that can make them a millionaire, but they die in the project’s poor. When God wakes you up, take it as an opportunity to get up and pray. When To Begin Midnight Prayer

Midnight prayer may seem like you must always begin to pray at 12am but understand that switching your time up is important when you pray between 12am-3am. Me personally I sometimes start at 11:58pm to get a head start especially if I engage in spiritual warfare prayers against witches who start their evil altars around midnight. However, sometimes I pray at 12am, 1am or 2am. It is sometimes good to switch up your hours so that the enemy satan doesn’t study you to learn your patterns. When you pray between 12am – 3am, you are already conquering the evil powers of darkness and building a deeper relationship with God.

How Should a Christian Do Midnight Prayer?

There are different types of midnight prayer that a Christian can engage in. There are

• Worship Prayers
• Spiritual Warfare prayers
• Thanksgiving Prayers
• Prayers in Tongues

I believe that it is best for a Christian to engage these prayers whenever they do midnight prayer, but you can switch up. For instance, one night you can do thanksgiving prayers thanking God for everything he has done and is getting ready to do. Next day, you can engage in praying in tongues as these prayers is strictly between you and God as satan can’t understand tongues making it highly effective for the enemy not to know what you’re up to.

How Long Should Midnight Prayer Be?

The length of time for midnight prayers does not matter as much as you can cover much ground even in short prayers. What matters most is your growing a deeper relationship with God, stopping wicked powers that may be fighting against you and becoming a disciplined Christian. I can do all 4 midnight prayers within 3 minutes of me praying. Whether you pray for 3 minutes or 4 hours, what matters most is that your relationship with God is strong and you’re conquering over the evil powers of darkness.

Sleeping for the entire night and waking up to pray next morning will leave you behind as any witch who might be working against you already finished their evil duties at 3am.
