Why So Many People Are Crashing Out in 2026

We are seeing a scary trend in our world today. Many people are “crashing out” and losing their minds. You see it in the news every day. Men are turning against their wives. Family members are hurting each other for money. In big cities, you see people walking the streets who look physically alive but spiritually dead. They talk to themselves and have a lost look in their eyes. This post looks at why this is happening and how to stay safe.

Many young people are roaming the streets lost without guidance often being influenced by entertainers and mainstream artists. Thus, you see why so many young people are committing crimes and going to prison for a long time. Many people are losing hope with the news of war, famine and possible pandemics constantly on the news. We are in the last days where many people have turned from having a fear of God to resorting to a life of ungodliness.

Matthew 24:6-7 (KJV)

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled… For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

The Loss of Love and Hope

The Bible warns that in the last days, the love of many will grow cold. We see this in how people treat each other now. You might bump into someone by mistake, and they are ready to attack you. People do not seem to care who they hurt anymore. They only care about themselves. Many people are crashing out on innocent people unfortunately.

Many people have lost hope because they put their trust in the wrong things. They trusted:

  • Politicians who did not help them.
  • Celebrities who do not care about them.
  • Family members who let them down.
  • Money that can disappear quickly.

When these things fail, people feel like they have nowhere to turn. This leads to a breaking point where they just give up on being good. This breaking point causes many people to start crashing out as they are not looking ahead to better days. People crashing out will sadly keep happening as many people don’t know how or don’t want to run to the Most High God.

Luke 21:26 (KJV)

Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth…”

Choosing Prison Over Freedom

Life has become so hard for some that they prefer prison. They commit crimes on purpose just to get a bed and a meal. To them, prison is easier than being homeless or struggling to find a job. This shows how much the world is hurting right now.

We also see extreme road rage. People are losing their lives over a simple car horn. This happens because people are carrying so much anger inside. They are looking for any reason to explode. Many people don’t know where to turn which is causing a spike in anger, bitterness, depression and even hatred. Now, this is why even during the pandemic in 2020, crime went up in many major cities.

Many people didn’t know if they were going to survive the 2020 COVID pandemic back then causing many people to turn to crime. Many people do not care who there actions harm as long as they are happy with whatever decision they choose to make. Instead of many people running to Jesus, they rather run to a life of crime such as murder and committing robberies.

Many people have chosen to reject God causing them to be

Spiritual Battles and Mental Health

Many people are walking around with spiritual problems. They have rejected God and do not want to change their ways. This leaves them open to dark influences. When you see people mumbling to themselves or acting out in violence, it is often a spiritual issue. It is not light matters that some people think as there are people who need deliverance.

The media also plays a role. Movies often show dark futures where crime is legal. These stories can put bad ideas into people’s heads. If you fill your mind with violence and “drill music” that promotes crime, it will change how you think. It can cause a person who was heading down a bright path to turn to darkness.

We have seen this many times on the news on how kids with a bright future turned to gangs or drugs leading them to prison or an early grave. Many young people have been crashing out for generations leading them to an early demise such as a long prison sentence or dying at a young age. The streets glorify crashing out such as reckless shootings, petty robberies and sadly innocent people getting caught in the crossfire.

How to Protect Yourself

You must be careful about who you hang out with. This is not about being popular. It is about your safety. You cannot be friends with everyone in these times. Even celebrities get set up by their own friends. You need to find people who share your values and follow a good path. You need friends and family who are walking down the narrow path with you. Like the old saying, birds of a feather flock together as who you hang with can shape your path.

You need others along with you who recognize that Jesus is the King of Glory who is set to return as the signs of the times showcase that Christ is at the door. Jesus is coming back to destroy this wicked world to reign in his kingdom and put an end to the enemy’s reign over this current world. Thus, we need to keep our eyes on Christ even in these hard times where many are crashing out losing their minds.

Steps for Staying Safe:

  1. Stay close to God. This provides a spiritual shield.
  2. Keep your circle small. Only trust people who have proven they are loyal.
  3. Be prepared. Keep extra food and water in your home.
  4. Stay alert. Watch your surroundings when you are in public.
  5. Avoid bad influences. Turn off music and movies that promote hate.

Hard Times Are Ahead

We have heard many warnings about what is coming next. There are rumors of more pandemics, food shortages, and wars. When the news reports these things, it causes more people to panic and “crash out.” During the pandemic a few years ago, crime went up in almost every major city. People get desperate when they are afraid. In desperate times, this can cause many to start crashing out.

Some people resort to selling their bodies online just to make money. This hurts their minds and ruins their chances for a real, healthy marriage. It is a cycle of desperation that keeps growing. This cycle of ungodliness will continue to grow as many people are focused on living life however they please. Ungodliness will unfortunately continue to grow as many people are turning to satan’s path instead of the Godly path which will cause more people to keep crashing out.

Trust in the Most High

If you have a relationship with God, you know He is real. You might have seen Him work in your life or heard Him in your dreams. Do not let people talk you out of your faith. They will try to tempt you or tell you God is not real. Stay strong anyway. These people who will tell you that God is not real are the same people crashing out as they can’t find answers.

Many people can’t find an answer to the current events happening as politicans, entertainers can’t save people like Jesus can but many refuse to listen to Jesus causing more to keep crashing out.

The path to destruction is wide and many people are on it. The path to life is narrow. It is better to walk the narrow path alone than to follow a crowd into a crash.

Matthew 24:12 (KJV)

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Conclusion

The world is becoming a wild place. We see people losing their jobs, their homes, and their minds every day. Young people are going to prison for life because they made one horrible choice. The enemy wants you to feel like you have nothing left to lose. He wants you to think that crashing out is your only option.

Satan likes to install these thoughts to make you feel hopeless and to start crashing out to destroy your life. Remember, hard times are for a season but those in Jesus Christ will win. This world is temporary so crashing out is not worth it but the kingdom of heaven will be beautiful for those who stay with Christ until the end.

Do not listen to those lies. Even though hard times are coming, God protects His people. He will keep you safe if you put your trust in Him. Stay focused on what is right and keep your heart from growing cold. This is the only way to survive the chaos happening all around us. God bless.
